Here at the Dolby Hotel we want your time with us to be as safe as it is relaxed. That is why we have introduced measures to keep our guests and staff as safe as possible at this difficult time.
We have a cleaning stations in our reception area providing hand sanitiser for our customers. Please use these when you arrive at the hotel.
When you arrive at the hotel, you will notice our new social distancing signage around the hotel. We ask that you observe these signs at all times (excluding emergency evacuations)
We have a queuing system in place for check in with floor markings to help you stay the appropriate distance apart.
We have added screens to our reception desk to protect you and our staff. We are also only allowing one party to check in at the desk at most times. For busy times we can use a second check in space at the side of our reception to keep numbers waiting to an absolute minimum.
It is now compulsory for face masks to be worn in all public areas of the hotel unless eating or drinking.
We ask that customers do not congregate in corridors or stairwells to help with social distancing.
All our housekeeping staff at the Dolby Hotel are employed directly by us and as such have been able to react quickly and professionally to the current situation.
Housekeeping will service your room during your stay, but only if the room is unoccupied.
Housekeeping will change your linen to our usual standards, after the 3rd night, but only if the room is unoccupied.
Housekeeping will not enter your room at any time if you are in there. This is for your protection as well as theirs.
All our housekeeping staff have suitable PPE for use when cleaning your room and viricidal products effective against Coronavirus; certified to European standards EN1276 & EN14476 that will be used to ensure your environment is as safe as it is comfortable.
We ask that you try to keep areas of your room as clear as possible to allow housekeeping to clean and sanitise your room to the highest standard possible.
Breakfast options include our English breakfast which comes with toast, juice, tea and coffee.
We have a vegetarian English breakfast which comes with toast, juice, tea and coffee.
We have a children's English breakfast available.
We are unable to offer continental buffet at this time.
We do offer toast and jam for anyone who prefers a lighter breakfast.
Breakfast Times are now as follows,
Monday to Friday 7am - 9am,
Saturday and Sunday 8am - 10am
The bar is open and is operating with table service.
The evening time restaurant is open. We have limited the number of tables to allow us to maintain social distancing.
Our restaurant is open between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm daily.
We have stepped up our already thorough cleaning practices. All areas of the hotel are regularly cleaned with viricidal products effective against Coronavirus; certified to European standards EN1276 & EN14476 to ensure you are as safe as is humanly possible.
We are currently wokring on a safe format for storing guest luggage, but where possible please try to arrive after our standard check in time of 2:30pm.
